Each device on the internet, such as a computer or cell phone, must be assigned an I-P address in order to communicate with other devices. With the massive number of new technology being connected to the Internet, there is a need for more addresses than the old system, IPV4 can handle. That's why a new routing system IPV6 is being used since June of this year; the change mainly affecting businesses and your personal security.
