DSTM Options for DHCP (Obsolete)
Description: The DSTM Global IPv4 Address option and the DSTM Tunnel Endpoint Option provide DSTM (Dual Stack Transition Mechanism) configuration information to DHCPv6 hosts.

Load Balancing for DHCPv6 (Obsolete)
Description: This document specifies a load balancing algorithm for use with DHCPv6. Load balancing enables multiple cooperating DHCPv6 servers to decide which one should service a client, without exchanging any information beyond initial configuration. It expands on RFC 3074 "DHC Load Balancing Algorithm" to include DHCPv6.

Client Preferred Prefix option for DHCPv6 (Obsolete)
Description: This document describes the Client Preferred Prefix option by which the client can specify its preferred prefixes on which the addresses need to be allocated by the server.

DHCPv4 Option for the Intra-Site Automatic Tunnel Addressing Protocol (Obsolete)
Description: This document specifies a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCPv4) option for nodes that implement the Intra-Site Automatic Tunnel Addressing Protocol (ISATAP).

Issues Concerning DHCP in IPv6 Specifications (Obsolete)
Description: There are several issues related to DHCPv6 in various IPv6 documents that require clarification or resolution. The v6ops working group discussed these issues at an interim meeting in August, 2002. This document presents those issues and summarizes the v6ops working group discussion.

ND Support to trigger the nodes refresh the other configuration (Obsolete)
Description: Neighbor Discovery for IPv6 [RFC2461] provides a way by which the nodes can determine whether to use administered protocol for address autoconfiguration and other non-address information through M and O bits in the Router Advertisements. Though RAs can notify nodes of a change in the address prefixes, currently there is no way the nodes can learn that there is a change in the non-address configuration parameters. This will make the nodes unable to learn about new or changed configuration parameters like DNS server addresses. This specification extends the Neighbor Discovery protocol [RFC2461] to notify the nodes that the other information obtained through an administered protocol has been changed.

DHCPv6 support for IPv6 Transition (Obsolete)
Description: For the newly deployed IPv6 networks to interoperate with vastly deployed IPv4 networks, various transition mechanisms had been proposed. One such mechanism is configured tunnels. This document provides a mechanism by which the DHCPv6 servers can provide information about the various configured tunnel end points to reach the IPv6 nodes which are separated by IPv4 networks.
